Laura Del Villaggio is the designer and milliner behind the label Milli Starr. Her studio is located in Austin, Texas where she works to create two seasonal collections each year and custom orders for clients.
Her career began when she completed a Certificate in Millinery from the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York in 1999. This training with Janet Linville set Laura up as a skilled and knowledge milliner. Compelting her Master’s Degree in Museum Studies: Costume & Textiles at the same time Laura has an extensive knowledge of fashion and textiles that translate into her millinery work. From these studies she has worked as a vintage clothing store manager, fiber arts instructor, collections research associate, theater costume designer and milliner.
